At the age of 16 I picked up a Pentax K1000 and fell in love with photography. My camera equipment is much more sophisticated today but my passion is still the same - capturing an image not only of a scene or an event, but the experience of the occasion; its power, emotion and beauty.

It is easy for the significance of the big events of life to be lost in the organisation and activity that surrounds them. A well captured image holds that event in trust for the participants so that in reflection the uniqueness of the moment can be relived, enjoyed and experienced afresh.
